DMX, the acronym stands for Dark Man X, was born Earl Simmons in Mount Vernon, New York on December 18th, 1970. He left the earth on April 9th, 2021. DMX, a passionate emcee and veteran in the game of Hip Hop debuted his first studio album, on May 12th, 1988 and released his seventh studio album on September 11th, 2012. With over 45 released singles, six compilation albums, one Mixtape, two EP’s and 24 music videos, DMX has proven to be one of the most influential rappers to carry the torch.

When it comes to lyricism, DMX had the ability to aggressively but passionately deliver a message using words to poetically analyze his thoughts from a spiritual and street connection. He used his platform to encourage, inspire and deliver messages from his heart filled with both love and pain. DMX is a champion fighter, a Ruff Ryder pioneer and one of the greatest rap artists to ever touch the mic.
